We created Culture Desk to share our observations and conversations on the cultural signals worth paying attention to across art, creative economy, technology, place and the wider cultural ecosystem. We felt the space needed a different voice and perspective.
The List is coming soon and it sits alongside the Desk as a gesture of recognition to the people and practices contributing to the creation and preservation of culture. We want to acknowledge the effort that goes into creating momentum in our society.
We are interested in how culture is made, shared and experienced. We are interested in the people behind ideas, the systems thinking outside the box and how these create a lasting culture made with intention and curation.
Art Place wants to hear from you, what interests you, what deserves recognition and how we can help make sure our cultural landscape is a reflection of our human depth beyond the tools and technology that facilitate change.
